Located 8km away from Kithulgala. Belilena is a very large cave, in which the 12,000 year old skeletal remains of the prehistoric ‘Balangoda man’ (Homesepiens Balangodensis) have been found. In order to reach the cave you have to walk through the jungle, close to the Inoya rubber estate, you will meet many butterflies and bats acquires as their home.
After the caving exploration well experienced boatmen will take across the 60 meter wide river. Heal the uniqueness of various fauna and flora of the Rain forest of Kithulgala, Forest Reserve and see beautiful sceneries of waterfalls and streams hidden inside the forest. Have cool dip in a scenic flowing water stream during your Rain Forest Trekking at the Kithulgala.
